This project was created for Bramhacks 2024, a City of Brampton organized hackathon to help improve Brampton Transit. The main theme of the hackathon was to make transportation smarter, safer, sustainable and more inclusive for everyone.
My team consisted of 5 members, specializing in fields of UI/UX, app development, and marketing.
My team members and I are regular users of Brampton Transit, and we face plenty challenges on a regular basis such as transport delays, lack of communication, bad weather, strikes, to name a few. The hackathon was a good platform to suggest improvements, as well as test our skills in various fields of UI/UX, marketing and app development. The theme helped us further in narrowing our ideas, and we decided to create an app which we believed was accessible, equitable and sustainable for all users.
